Emergency Mode (No OTP)
A responder scans with an internet-connected smartphone. The page shows only the minimum emergency fields selected by the owner, without exposing contact phone numbers.
Doctor / Clinic Mode (OTP Protected)
A verified doctor requests access for a stated clinical purpose and case reference. The patient receives a 6-digit OTP and decides whether to share it. Successful verification creates short-lived, audited access.

Common questions about Smart Health QR.
Does the emergency mode work without internet?
The patient needs no phone or app, but the responder's scanning phone needs an internet connection to retrieve current emergency information.
Can a stranger access my full medical history without permission?
No. Public emergency mode is limited to fields selected by the owner. A verified doctor needs a 6-digit patient OTP for a short-lived, audited full-record access session.
Where are my medical documents stored?
Production document upload is not yet available. It will launch only after durable private object storage, access controls and file-security checks are configured and verified.
Can I update my medical information after purchase?
Yes. The owner dashboard can update health fields and emergency contacts. Public changes follow the owner’s visibility choices; document upload will be enabled only after durable private storage is ready.
Is this compatible with India ABHA / Ayushman Bharat?
ABHA/ABDM support is in development and is not live or certified yet. Health-record sync will be enabled only after the official integration and consent workflow are verified.
What if I lose my health tag?
Disable the tag from the owner dashboard and contact support if the public token may be compromised. A damaged-card reprint can keep the same identity; a lost or exposed token needs a separately verified replacement decision.
